Abstract

PURPOSE: A method and a system for converting an e-mail address into a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) are provided to access a homepage or a blog of other user by displaying the desired homepage of other user to an Internet address window of a user's browser as the e-mail address of other user. CONSTITUTION: A mapping database(J42) maps the e-mail address of each user with the matched Internet address. A client software(J3) discriminates that the address inputted to the Internet address window from a user terminal(J2) is the e-mail address(J6), queries the matched real Internet address by transmitting the e-mail address to the conversion system(J4) when the e-mail address is inputted, and operates the web browser(J5) by using the responded Internet address(J7). The conversion system comprises the mapping database and a conversion system server(J41), and connects to the user terminal through the Internet(J1).
