Abstract

The backlight module includes a light guide plate, a light source, and a reflection cover for light source. The light guide plate includes a light entering face, a light coming out face conterminous to the light entering face, and bottom face setup opposite to the light coming out face. The reflection cover and the light entering face of the light guide plate form a space for housing the light source. The reflection cover includes a top part and a base part setup oppositely. The top part bunts the light coming out face of the light guide plate, and the base part of the reflection cover is near to the bottom face of the light guide plate. The top part includes a tail end, and the base part includes a tail end. The end of the top part is more far from the light entering face than the tail end of the base part from the light entering face. The backlight module is easy to be assembled. The invention also discloses a liquid crystal display of using the backlight module.
