no. 1 example

[0047] An example in which a pollen removing device 10 as a dust reducing device according to a first embodiment of the present invention is applied to an automobile 12 as a vehicle will be described based on FIGS. 1 and 2 .

[0048] FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the interior of a passenger compartment of an automobile 12 . As shown in FIG. 1 , an air cleaning device 14 is provided in a passenger compartment of an automobile 12 . In the first embodiment, the air cleaning device 14 is arranged on the floor 16 under the passenger seat 15 (the seat next to the driver). As shown in FIG. 2 , the air cleaning device 14 includes a device body 14A and an air suction unit 14B communicating with each other. The pollen removing filter 18 and the fan 20 are arranged in the device body 14A.

[0049] The air cleaning device 14 is designed such that when the fan 20 operates, the air cleaning device 14 sucks in air from the suction unit 14B and discharges the air from the device body...

no. 2 example

[0062] A pollen removing device 30 as a dust reducing device in a second embodiment of the present invention will be described based on FIG. 3 .

[0063] As shown in FIG. 3 , the pollen removal device 30 includes the air cleaning device 14 . The air suction unit 14B of the air cleaning device 14 is arranged on a side of the driver's seat 32 such that the air suction unit 14B sucks air from a relatively upper position of the device body of the air cleaning device 14 . An apparatus body 14A (not shown) is arranged under the passenger seat 15 similarly to the first embodiment. In the second embodiment, in addition to the suction unit 14B shown in FIG. 3 , the air cleaning device 14 also includes another suction unit 14B (not shown) adapted to suck pollen P Floor 16 pollen P blown up by the wind.

[0064] The pollen removing device 30 includes a blower fan 34 provided at an upper portion in the passenger compartment of the automobile 12 . In the second embodiment, at least one ...

no. 3 example

[0074] A pollen removing device 40 as a dust reducing device according to a third embodiment of the present invention will be described based on FIGS. 4 to 6 .

[0075] As shown in FIG. 4A , the pollen removing device 40 includes a negative ion generator 42 as an ion generator. The negative ion generator 42 is configured to inject negative ions (electrons) into the passenger space during operation to negatively charge the pollen P floating or scattered in the air of the passenger compartment. As shown in FIG. 5 , the negative ion generator 42 (particularly, the negative ion injection portion) is arranged at the central portion of the front end of the inner surface of the roof 48 .

[0076] The pollen removing device 40 also includes a charging unit 46 capable of positively charging the sunshade 44 as a suction member. The charging unit 46 selectively produces a charged state in which the shade 44 is positively charged and a de-energized state in which the charged state is rel...

Abstract

A pollen eliminating apparatus 10 which is a dust reducing apparatus applied to an automobile 12 includes an air cleaning apparatus 14 which is provided independently from an air conditioning system of the vehicle and which is disposed on a floor 16 in a passenger compartment for suctioning air from a lower position of the passenger compartment. The air cleaning apparatus allows the suctioned air to pass through a filter, thereby capturing pollen P in the air. With this structure, it is possible to provide a dust reducing apparatus capable of reliably eliminating dust such as pollen existing in the passenger compartment within a short time.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a dust reduction device for reducing the amount of dust and the like, such as pollen, in the passenger compartment of a vehicle such as an automobile. Background technique [0002] In recent years, the number of patients suffering from hay fever is increasing. As a means against hay fever, a car air conditioning system for preventing pollen from entering the passenger compartment of a car has been devised (for example, see Japanese Patent Application Laid-open (JP-A) No. 8-310230). In such an air conditioning system for a vehicle, the downstream portion of the external intake port in the duct of the air conditioning system is divided into first and second intake passages, and the pollen removing filter is arranged in the second intake passage. The duct of the air conditioning system is provided with an external air switching door therein for selectively introducing external air sucked from the external air intake port ...
