Abstract

The present invention relates to a kind of active compound, named as bulbobiphenantrene B, extracted from Bulbophyllum odoratissimum(J.E.Smith) Lindl and its application, and belongs to the field of medicine preparing technology. By using Bulbophyllum odoratissimum(J.E.Smith)Lindl as material and through conventional crushing, alcohol extraction, solvent treatment, and silica gel column chromatography, pure bulbobiphenantrene B is obtained. The new compound, bulbobiphenantrene B, has its chemical structure determined by means of wave spectrum technology. The active compound has inhibition on human leukemia cell strain HL-60 and K562, human lung cancer cell strain A549 and human gastric carcinoma cell strain SGC-7901, and may be used in preparing anticancer medicine. The present invention provide precursor compound for developing new anticancer medicine and is favorable to developing natural medicine resource.
