Abstract

A clamp (10) for holding a valve assembly (20) in an automatic washing device, the valve assembly (20) being movable between an open position and a normally closed position. The clamp (10) includes a first housing section (60) and a second housing section (100), the housing sections being releasably connected to each other. The first and second housing sections (60, 100) define an inner cavity (82) sized to retain the valve assembly (20) in the open position. A fluid inlet (84) communicates with the cavity / cavity (82) and is connectable to a source of antimicrobial fluid in the washing system.
