Improved integrity test, priming sequence and bag height detection tests, apparatuses and methods for a medical fluid delivery system are provided. The integrity test includes a plurality of air pressure decay tests, using positive and negative pressure. The priming sequence includes pumping fluid through a portion of a patient line to be primed to overcome air in the line and other potential obstacles. The head height test measures a pressure build-up or drop-off within a pump chamber of a membrane pump. The measured pressure corresponds to a head height between a fluid supply and the pump or between the pump and a fluid drain. A determination is made whether the corresponding head height is acceptable.

Blood component processing systems and methods are coupled to a blood component processing device. The systems and methods include a fluid circuit that comprises at least one fluid pressure actuated pump station, at least one fluid flow path communicating with the pump station, and at least one valve in the fluid flow path. A control module is sized and configured to interact with the fluid circuit. The control module includes an actuator to selectively apply fluid pressure to the pump station in concert with operation of the valve to pump fluid through the fluid flow path in response to a control program. A controller coupled to the control module includes the control program and a fluid circuit integrity test function. The fluid circuit integrity test function commands the control module to selectively apply fluid pressure to the pump station in concert with operation of the valve to introduce a fluid within a region of the fluid circuit and to confine the fluid within the region while applying fluid pressure to the pump chamber. The fluid circuit integrity test function generates an integrity output in response to sensing leakage of fluid from the region.

The present invention describes a system and method for accurately measuring the concentration of a substance within a filter housing. A concentration sensor and a communications device are coupled so as to be able to measure and transmit the concentration of a particular substance within the filter housing while in use. This system can comprise a single component, integrating both the communication device and the concentration sensor. Alternatively, the system can comprise separate sensor and transmitter components, in communication with one another. In yet another embodiment, a storage element can be added to the system, thereby allowing the device to store a set of concentration values. The use of this device is beneficial to many applications. The invention relates to an oil/gas well cement sheath sealing integrity testing device. The testing device comprises a pressure kettle and a simulation wellbore located in the pressure kettle. The testing device further comprises a pressure control system, a temperature control system, a fluid channeling detection system, a strain measuring system and a mud cake simulation system. The simulation wellbore comprises a casing pipe and a core located on the periphery of the casing pipe. An annular gap is formed between the sleeve and the core, and a cement sheath is formed in the annular gap. Systems and methods for determining the integrity of an endoscope. The systems and methods provide for an air enclosure which includes the internal area of the sleeve or tubing of the endoscope to be pressurized. Pressure measurements of the air enclosure are then taken both before and after the endoscope is manipulated by a user. The systems and methods may also or alternatively vent air from inside the endoscope to a humidity detector to detect the presence of fluid inside the endoscope.

The present invention relates to an annular barrier system (1) for proving a testable annular barrier arranged between a first metal casing (2) or borehole and a second metal casing (3), the second metal casing having an outer face. The annular barrier system comprises a first annular barrier (4) and a second annular barrier (5), each barrier comprising a tubular part (6) made of metal extending in a longitudinal direction for mounting as part of the second metal casing, an expandable metal sleeve (7) surrounding and connected with the tubular part and defining an annular barrier space (13), and a first fluid passage (11) in the tubular part for letting fluid into the annular barrier space to expand the sleeve. The annular barrier system further comprises a sensor (9), and when the expandable sleeves are expanded to abut the first metal casing or borehole, a first annular space (12) is defined between the annular barriers, wherein the sensor is arranged to determine a condition of the annular space in order to test the isolation ability of at least one of the annular barriers. The present invention also relates to a method of testing pressure integrity of a well using an annular barrier system as described above.

A downhole packer for providing a seal in a well bore to allow integrity testing of the well bore. The packer is set by a sleeve movable on a body of the packer being set down on a formation in the well bore. Movement of the sleeve compresses one or more packing elements. The packer further includes a by-pass channel which allows fluid to pass through the tool as it is run in the well bore, and brushes or scrapers for cleaning the well bore and preparing the location for the packer elements to be contacted upon.
