Abstract

The method comprises: soaking powdery pyrolusite in diluted acid (H2SO4, HNO3 or HCl) for 1-24 h, pulping, introducing SO2 reducer at a pH value not lower than 5 to obtain MnSO4 solution with low Ca2+ and Mg2+ content, chemically purifying to obtain pure MnSO4 solution, introducing air in an alkaline condition, oxidizing, washing and drying to obtain high-purity Mn3O4 particles.
