Benefits of technology

In this new way, we found that adding certain types of substances like stalk or other vegetable waste could help accelerating the breakdown of organic matter (biodegrades) into smaller molecules called oil hydrocystones which were previously difficult to remove with chemical methods alone. These oily compounds produced during decomposition aid the formation of nitrogen gas when decomposed under anaerobically conditioned conditions. By incorporation of these substance into fertilizers made up mostly of plants grown on slopes at different stages of their life cycle, they may become more effective tools against harmful environmental elements.

Problems solved by technology

Technologies described in the technical problem addressed in this patented text involve developing an effective way to remove oil from contamination sites without damaging their surrounding areas or harmful effects on human health. Biodegraftion methods offer potential advantages over traditional chemical techniques but they also suffer from issues like slow decomposition rates and poor mobility because these processes require multiple steps before reaching full recovery levels. Therefore, it becomes important to develop new technics aimed towards enhancing the efficacy of removing oily substances while minimizing negative impacts upon both humans and environments.

Embodiment

[0028] In the example, the oil-contaminated soil contains 3.75% oil. The implementation process is as follows:

[0029] 1) First, mix the wheat straw with the pre-cultured Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The addition amount of Phanerochaete chrysosporium is 50mg / Kg wheat straw, and the amount of Pseudomonas aeruginosa is 10 10 CFU / Kg wheat straw;

[0030] 2) The oil-contaminated soil is contained in a pot with a depth of about 25cm. Mix the wheat straw mixed with Phanerochaete chrysosporium and petroleum-contaminated soil thoroughly. The addition amount of wheat straw is 5% of the soil volume; keep the water content 15-25% for 30 days;

[0031] 3) Applying a petroleum hydrocarbon degrading compound bacterial agent composed of Enterobacter cloacae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Cunninghamella chinensis, wherein Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a high-efficiency producer of surfactants. The amount of bacteria added is 10 10 CFU / m 2 Soil, fungus is 50mg dry weight / m 2 s...

Abstract

The invention discloses an in situ bioremediation method for strengthening the petroleum contaminated soil by biomass which belongs to the environment restoration technique. The method utilizes the biomass added with biomass degradation fungi to promote the conversion of biomass in polluted soil. The intermediate product transformed by biomass in soil is utilized to serve as the preferential carbon source of the petroleum hydrocarbon degradation complex bacteria for promoting the biological accumulation of the petroleum hydrocarbon degradation complex bacteria; meanwhile, the imposed petroleum hydrocarbon degradation complex bacteria contains the fungus that can produce biological surface active agent efficiently, the fungus produces abundant biological surface active agent during growth to activate the petroleum hydrocarbon pollutants in polluted soil for increasing the biological utilize degree, thus promoting the biotransformation efficiency of the petroleum hydrocarbon degradation complex bacteria to pollutants. Humus of the transformation product of the biomass in the soil can also improve the granular structure of the soil, and increase the fertility of the soil, so the polluted soil can be restored. The method is simple and is easy to operate and promotion.
