[0023] Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a content distribution network in the prior art. The content distribution network shown in FIG. 1 includes a central node server (China node server) and several edge node servers, such as Haidian, Chaoyang, Xicheng, Hongkou, Zhabei, Xuhui and other node servers. Generally speaking, the most complete program content is stored on the central node server, and a part of the program content is stored on each edge node server.

[0024] The Haidian node server is taken as an example below to specifically describe the network access statistics method of the present invention. Assume that 100 most popular TV series are stored on the node server, which are TV series 1 to TV series 100 respectively. If an end user is interested in the TV series 5, he can send a playback request to the Haidian node server. From the time when the Haidian node server responds to a request of the terminal user to the time when the terminal user finishes watching the ...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a network visit statistical method which is used for the counting of the programs watched by the terminal user in the content distribution network. The content distribution network includes a central node server and a plurality of rim node servers, with the central node server storing all the programs and the rim node servers storing the most popular programs. The method includes the following steps: first, obtaining the actual watching time in each dialogue; second, counting the content marks of the aforesaid programs in each dialogue; last, summarizing all the marks of the aforesaid programs. The network visit statistical method provided by the present invention can reflect the popularity of the programs veritably, and the content distribution network can achieve reasonable distribution of the programs in the network according to the actual statistical result so as to improve the efficiency of the content distribution network.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a statistical method of network access, especially a statistical method of access in a content distribution network, and a system using the method. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of the Internet and multimedia communications, network users have higher and higher requirements for Internet service quality and access speed. Although the bandwidth continues to increase, the number of users is also increasing. Each Web site stores different information content. Under normal circumstances, due to the non-regional and distance access of the IP network itself, users distributed in different parts of the world can access the content in the same server, which will cause the processing speed of the server itself on the one hand. Congestion of backbone network traffic is caused. [0003] In order to solve the above processing speed and congestion problems, a content distribution network (Content Distribution Netw...
