no. 1 approach

[0047] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 , an endoscope cover (endoscopic treatment instrument) 1 is provided with a transparent cylindrical cap portion (barrel body) 2, the proximal end of which is passed through a fitting portion 7 ( (to be described below) is fitted on the tip end of the insertion portion I1 of the endoscope E1. As shown in FIG. 5 , the high-frequency snare S can move back and forth relative to the insertion part I1, and includes a snare shell SS and a snare wire SW protruding through the snare shell SS in a half-moon shape or a loop shape. The endoscope cover 1 is used when the snare wire SW protrudes into the cap part 2 and then expands radially.

[0048] The endoscope cover 1 is provided with: a hook portion 3 extending radially inward from the periphery of the top end of the cap portion 2, and holding a loop-like snare wire SW inside the cap portion 2 in an expanded manner; a locking portion 5, It is formed on the hook portion 3 and swingably captures the turnb...

Abstract

An endoscopic treatment instrument (1) is provided comprising: a cylinder (2) adapted to be fitted over a tip of an insertion section (I1) of an endoscope (E1); a loop-shaped snare wire (SW) which protrudes in the cylinder from a snare sheath (SS) that is extendable and retractable with respect to the insertion section and which is extendable within the cylinder; a hooked portion (3) which is formed and radially inwardly extended from the circumference of the tip of cylinder and which holds the snare wire within the cylinder; a locking portion (5) which is provided on the hooked portion and retains a folded-back portion (W) of the snare wire that is forwardly moved toward the cylinder tip with respect to the snare sheath and by means of which the snare wire is turned upside-down around the folded-back portion.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an endoscope treatment instrument. [0002] This application claims priority from Japanese Patent Application No. 2006-257351 filed September 22, 2006, the contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference. Background technique [0003] In the case of early gastric cancer or esophageal cancer, endoscopic mucosal dissection is performed in which the mucosa in the lesioned or infected area is resected using a frequency snare introduced into the body cavity through the channel of the endoscope. In such mucosal dissection surgery, an endoscopic treatment instrument is used, which includes an overall cylindrical transparent cap fitted on the tip end of an insertion portion of an endoscope. [0004] In the operation using this endoscopic treatment instrument, the snare wire of the high-frequency snare is first radially expanded in the transparent cap, and then the mucosa to be resected is attracted to the transparent cap while ...
