Embodiment Construction

[0021] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with accompanying drawing and embodiment:

[0022] The system environment of the present invention is shown in Figure 1. The entire system is composed of file storage nodes in different regions. Each node is managed by a unified virtual storage node. The copy management module is built on the virtual storage node. The management module interactively navigates to the desired file copy.

[0023] For files with many read operations, more file copies need to be created in places with high request rates. For files with many write operations and modification operations, fewer copies should be saved as much as possible. Therefore, two counters are created for each file. When a read operation is performed on the file, the read count is increased, and when a write operation is performed on the file, the write counter is increased. Scan these two counters at regular intervals, and determine the increase or decr...

Abstract

The invention relates to a management method of a multifile copy of a distributed file system. A copy management mechanism based on a frequency is adopted, the state of a file copy is changed according to the read-write access frequency of the file and the information trend of an access resource, and the position transference is increased/reduced and stored through the trend of the quantity of the file copy. The management method includes copy grading management, copy creating policy, copy selection and orientation, and a copy consistency maintenance method. The creating method of the file copy includes the creating initiated by the user and the creating initiated by a crunodes, and adopts a data gridding method and a policy based on the benefit drive. The orientation of the copy maps a logic file on an appropriate copy, and a copy with minimum cost and highest access efficiency is selected to be provided to the user for using. The invention has the advantages that the provided service carries on the excellent characteristics of the distributed file system, which includes loose coupling, high usability, high reliability and high cost performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of file copy management, and mainly relates to a method for managing multiple file copies in a distributed file system. Background technique [0002] In the service-oriented distributed storage system of the wide area network, each storage node is a server dedicated to providing services, and the structure of the system does not change frequently, so the stability of the nodes is relatively strong. However, in the event of a system failure or network failure, some nodes may not be able to provide stable file services. The prominent feature of the distributed file system is that it has location transparency and migration transparency. Files are distributed and stored on different storage nodes. These distributed file systems basically meet the needs of large-scale storage systems. However, there are still some problems in many aspects such as file access performance, system reliability and stability. The co...
