Problems solved by technology

Therefore, if you want to connect a shielded wire with an extremely small diameter by crimping, it is not only difficult to obtain an electrically stable connection state, but also the shielded wire may be damaged
Therefore, it is impossible to apply the connection structure described in Patent Document 2 to shielded wires with extremely small diameters.

no. 1 approach

[0031] First, a first embodiment of an electrical connector configured using the shielded electric wire fixing structure according to the present invention will be described.

[0032] figure 1 is an exploded perspective view of the electrical connector 100 . This electrical connector (hereinafter also simply referred to as a connector) is used to connect to one end side of a plurality of shielded electric wires arranged in parallel in a row, thereby enabling electrical connection to a counterpart connector (not shown). Next, a configuration for collectively fixing 50 coaxial cables will be described as an example.

[0033] The connector 100 includes: an insulating housing 101 , a plurality of contacts 103 , a ground member 105 , a holding member 106 and a cover 108 .

[0034] The insulating case 101 is a member for holding the contacts 103 and the ground member 105, and is molded by molding a synthetic resin.

[0035] The contacts 103 are respectively connected to the cente...

no. 2 approach

[0051] Next, a second embodiment of the electrical connector of the present invention will be described. The electrical connector 200 also adopts the shielded wire connection structure of the present invention. In addition, descriptions of the same points as those of the first embodiment described above are omitted.

[0052] Figure 5 is an exploded perspective view of the connector 200 . The connector 200 includes: an insulating housing 201 , a plurality of contacts 203 , a grounding member 205 , a holding member 206 and a cover 208 . The insulating case 201 is a member for holding the contacts 203 and the ground member 205, and is molded from synthetic resin.

[0053] The contacts 203 are electrically connected to the center conductors (core wires) of the coaxial cables, and are members that come into contact with the contacts of the counterpart connector.

[0054] The ground member 205 and the holding member 206 are a pair of members. The coaxial cable C inserted betwe...

Abstract

Provided is a shielded wire securing structure capable of simultaneously connecting a plurality of small-diameter shielded wires. The shielded wires are clamped and secured on a connecting object by two rows of mutually parallel and confronting comb teeth of a first wire retaining member made of sheet metal and a second wire retaining member. The second wire retaining member is preferably also made of sheet metal and has two rows of comb teeth corresponding to the comb teeth of the first wire retaining member. Even if each of the shielded wires is a thin coaxial cable having a signal conductor with a diameter of 75[mu]m or less, the shielded wire can be connected electrically and mechanically without damaging the signal conductor.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a connection structure for mechanically fixing a shielded electric wire to a connection object, in particular to a connection structure suitable for fixing a thin coaxial cable. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, a shielded electric wire having a shield conductor around one or a plurality of signal conductors has been used for transmission of high-frequency signals. Shielded wires can effectively suppress the intrusion of electromagnetic noise into the transmission path and the electromagnetic influence of signal components leaking from the transmission path to the surroundings. In addition, in order to transmit high-frequency signals with as little attenuation as possible, a shielded wire (coaxial cable) with a coaxial structure can be used. [0003] Since coaxial cables are flexible, they are easy to handle, and various coaxial cables are used in various applications. For example, coaxial cables with extr...
