Embodiment Construction

[0016] figure 1 It is a structural schematic diagram of the cochlear implant based on the mobile phone and combined with voice tone information of the present invention. The difference with traditional cochlear implants is that 1) the speech processor 102 outside the body is integrated into the interior of the mobile phone 100; 2) the microphone 101 of the mobile phone is used to receive the sound signal of the surrounding environment; 3) the modified mobile phone The headset wire 106 transmits the electrical pulse signal generated by the speech processor to the transmitter 103 . Thereafter, the electric pulse signal is transmitted to the appropriate electrode 105 through the receiver 104 implanted in the ear, directly stimulating the auditory nerve fibers of the inner ear to form hearing.

[0017] The signal input end of the voice processor can also be switched to the loudspeaker 107 end of the mobile phone to directly listen to the sound signal transmitted by the mobile pho...

Abstract

The invention discloses an artificial electronic cochlea based on a mobile phone by combining voice tone information, which pertains to the fields of the electronic information technology and the medical apparatus and instruments. The device of the invention comprises a voice processor which is arranged in the mobile phone and provided with a voice tone information fetching module, a multi-channel pulse signal transmitter connected with the mobile phone, a pulse signal receiver and a stimulating electrode implanted in an ear. The voice processor is realized by a micro processor in the mobile phone and can magnify and digitally process a plurality of voice signals provided by the mobile phone and decompose the voice signals into multi-channel electric signals used for adjusting the amplitude of electrical impulse; the voice tone information fetching module of the voice processor fetches the voice tone information from the voice signals to adjust the stimulating speed of the multi-channel electrical impulse. Electrical impulse is finally sent to the stimulating electrode implanted in the ear by the transmitter and the receiver in the ear to directly stimulate the residual auditory nerve of an inner ear and to recover the hearing of profound hearing impairment sufferers. The device of the invention takes the mobile phone as a voice signal process platform of the invention, thus reducing the volume of the voice processor of the traditional artificial electronic cochlea. Patient with deafness can listen to the sound nearby by the microphone of the mobile phone and also can directly use the mobile phone for mobile communication, thus having the advantage of reducing the noise interference of the environment. Meanwhile, since the voice processor adopts voice tone information processing technology, the artificial electronic cochlea of the invention is caused to be especially applicable to the patients who are deaf and use tone language (such as Mandarin and Cantonese).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an electronic cochlear implant based on a mobile phone and combined with voice tone information, and belongs to the fields of electronic information technology and medical equipment. Background technique [0002] Hearing impairment is a relatively common disease in contemporary society. At present, as far as my country is concerned, there are more than 20 million hearing-impaired patients, of which 6 million are totally deaf. At the same time, there are more than 30,000 newborn deaf children every year. Due to deafness and dumbness, these deaf patients cannot communicate with others in language, which brings heavy economic burden and psychological pressure to society, family and individual. [0003] Cochlear implants are currently recognized as the only way to restore hearing to patients with profound or total deafness. The biggest difference between cochlear implants and traditional hearing aids is that hearing aids rely on t...
