Abstract

The invention relates to a high-speed and high-density electric connector which is provided with a central shielding needle. The high-speed and high-density electric connector comprises a needle connector and a hole connector. The needle connector consists of an insulating base, grounding shielding needles and differential contact element pairs, wherein the grounding shielding needles and the differential contact element pairs are arranged in the insulating base. The hole connector consists of a laminated component, a guide end cover and a locking board, wherein the laminated component is arranged in the guide end cover and is fixedly locked by using the locking board, and the grounding shielding needles are distributed on the circumferences of each differential contact pairs and differential signal pairs in the needle connector and the hole connector, therefore, the crosstalk interference between signal pairs can be reduced, and the whole shielding of a high-speed transmission connector can be achieved; in addition, the invention is compact in structure, easy for expanding, lower in cost, small in encapsulation size, more economic, has the working characteristics of high-quality signals and is convenient for the user.
