Abstract

An ontology-based framework model of a context perception application platform, which is characterized in that a context information acquisition layer collects signals from a sensor to require original context information; a context information amalgamation layer requires the original context information from the context information acquisition layer and requires inferior context information by preliminary abstracting and processing; a context information management layer requires the inferior context information from the context information amalgamation layer and requires advanced context information by using Ontology and an inference mechanism; and a context application layer unifies each context item and each context abstract status into modeling context objects on the application layer surface and offers an applied view which is attributes and the correlated operations of a group of service levels. The model enables context perception application developers to embedding the service operations in to the application thereof to realize the acquisition and the logical judgment of context or status by utilizing a group of general service operations which are applicable to all the context or status information to screen specific context isomerism.
