Problems solved by technology

When the container is transported by sea, the container will swing left and right due to the turbulence of the sea waves. Because the corner hole deviates from the corner post and the support force is uneven, it will put pressure on the hinge part of the container door, which will cause cracks in the hinge part for a long time, resulting in container damage
Therefore, the existing twist-lock structure cannot adapt the container to the bumpy environment of sea transportation

Embodiment Construction

[0021] The first invention point of the present invention is to reduce the depth of the gooseneck groove of the 53-foot container from the original 120mm to 79mm. Figure 3a One possible implementation is shown. exist Figure 3a The container bottom 1 is shown with a gooseneck 2 therein, the gooseneck 2 having a depth of 120mm. In the present invention, six beams 3 are evenly arranged around the gooseneck groove 2, and the height of the beams 3 is 41mm, thereby reducing the depth of the gooseneck groove from 120mm to 79mm. Figure 3b-3d Three other beam arrangements are shown. It is obvious to those skilled in the art that these beams can be distributed in the gooseneck groove in any manner, as long as the beams have a height of 41mm and are evenly distributed in the gooseneck groove, so as to ensure uniform stress on the bottom of the container , will not cause deformation of the container due to force imbalance.

Abstract

The invention provides a brand-new 53 foot gooseneck type container capable of being simultaneously used for overland transportation and marine transportation, wherein the bottom surface of the container is provided with a gooseneck groove with a depth of 120 millimeters; one or more than one beam is uniformly distributed inside the gooseneck groove; and the height of the beam is 41 millimeters. The invention also provides a twist lock for connecting corner fittings of the 53 foot container. The twist lock comprises an upper locking head, a lower locking head and a base, wherein the base comprises an upper end part, a lower end part and a middle part; and the area of the surface contacting the corner fittings when the middle part connects the corner fittings is approximately equal to the area of the bottom surfaces or the top surfaces of the corner fittings. The 53 foot container and the twist lock can realize stacking of a plurality of containers for marine transportation, greatly reduce the transport cost and shorten the transport cycle of cargoes.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a container, in particular to a 53-foot container that can be used for road, rail and sea transportation at the same time. Background technique [0002] Containers have been used in the transportation of goods since the mid-1950s. Unlike the previous single mode of transportation that only relied on railways, roads or water transportation, container transportation can greatly reduce the cost of transshipment, reducing the cost and time of cargo transshipment. Today, container shipping has become the most advanced means of transportation in global trade. [0003] Currently, 53-foot container containers are used on intermodal lines in the United States. But so far no 53-foot containers have been used on ocean lines. Imported goods in the United States are generally transported by sea to U.S. ports in 20, 40 or 45-foot containers, then transferred to 53-foot containers, and then transported to their final destinations by road o...
