Abstract

The invention discloses a liquid crystal color light selection device, which is applied to nonpolarized projection devices. The color light selection device comprises a polarization light splitting component and two switchable phase delay groups which are arranged at two outlet ends of the polarization light splitting component respectively, wherein each switchable phase delay group respectively comprises at least one liquid crystal layer and at least one color separation coating layer. When white light with S and P polarization directions irradiates at an incident end of the polarization light splitting component, the white light is modulated into polarized color light with two orthogonalities, and the polarized color light emits from the two outlet ends; and under the action of the switchable phase delay groups of the two outlet ends, the selected polarized color light is combined into nonpolarized color light by the polarization light splitting component once more, and the nonpolarized color light is outputted by a fourth outlet end.
