Abstract

The invention relates to a BIOS structure which can be suitable for a computer system and is provided with a turn-on block, wherein the turn-on block can be at least divided into a fixed data section and an updatable data section. When the BIOS requires updating, a program code of the BIOS can be updated from the updatable data section. In addition, the computer system can determine to execute the program code of the BIOS from the fixed data section or the updatable data section according to a state value when requiring executing the program code of the BIOS.
