Abstract

The invention relates to an image recognition technique and provides a human face recognition system based on an ultraviolet light source, which comprises an imaging device, a data processor and an optical system. The imaging device is used for collecting a human face image and giving the image to the data processor for image processing; the optical system is used for assisting the imaging of the imaging device and comprises an ultraviolet light source and an ultraviolet filter wherein the ultraviolet light source directly or indirectly projects a face recognition area; and the ultraviolet filter is positioned before a camera of the imaging device and matched with the wave length of the ultraviolet light source to filter visible light and infrared light. The human face recognition system can be used outdoor and overcomes the influence of environment light to the stability of a human face image in the prior art to obtain a relatively stable human face image, thereby improving the recognition rate.
