Abstract

The invention discloses an earthquake alarm. The alarm comprises a main control unit, a low-pass filtration amplifying unit, a pre-amplifier unit, a gear setting unit and an alarm unit, wherein the main control unit is connected with the gear setting unit and the alarm unit, and is also connected with an acceleration measuring unit through the low-pass filtration amplifying unit and the pre-amplifier unit in turn. By utilizing the time difference (10 to 20 seconds) between primary wave and transverse wave, the earthquake alarm provides timely and accurate local earthquake alarm within the timedifference of primary wave and transverse wave reaching the ground by monitoring the arrival of primary wave before transverse wave with stronger destructive power but slower transmission speed arrives; thus, after receiving an alarm, people inside a building can hide out in an area with antiseismic structure inside the building within the short time slot before transverse wave arrives so as to strive for more survival chance and minimize casualty. The earthquake alarm is suitable for local earthquake alarm inside buildings.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an alarm device, in particular to an earthquake alarm instrument for accurately predicting the arrival of longitudinal waves in seismic waves. [0002] Background technique [0003] The frequency range of seismic waves caused by earthquakes is from 0.1 Hz to tens of Hz. This frequency range corresponds to the resonance frequency of buildings of different scales on the surface, and it will directly affect the degree of shaking of buildings during earthquakes. According to the mode of propagation, seismic waves are divided into three types: longitudinal waves, shear waves and surface waves. The longitudinal wave (P wave) is a propulsion wave, and its propagation speed in the crust is 5.8-8 km / s. The longitudinal wave will reach the epicenter first, and it will cause the ground to vibrate up and down, which is less destructive. Shear wave (S wave) is a shear wave, and its propagation speed in the crust is 3.2-4.0 km / s. The shea...
