A search method of a draught monitor satellite comprises: 1. determining central wavelength (M2) and bandwidth (L2) required by a draught monitor model; 2. retrieving central wavelength (M1) and bandwidth (L1) contained in one piece of satellite image information from a pre-stored satellite information database; 3. judging whether the central wavelength (M2) and bandwidth (L2) required by the draught monitor model and the retrieved central wavelength (M1) and bandwidth (L1) contained in the piece of satellite image information meet the preset conditions; 4. if the preset conditions are met, reserving the retrieved satellite image information, if not, returning to step 2; 5. determining corresponding sensor type according to the retrieved central wavelength (M1) and bandwidth (L1) contained in the piece of satellite image information in step 4 so as to determine and acquire the sensor for the satellite image information; and 6. acquiring the satellite type of the sensor carrying the sensor type from a sensor form in the satellite information database according to the determined sensor type, and determining the required satellite information based on the determined satellite type.
