The device uses a means of electrically-heating the DMD, judges the environmental temperature by an environmental temperature detection device, and opens the electric heating apparatus to cause the temperature of the DND to reach the normal section; when the environmental temperature is over high, the electric heating apparatus is closed and simultaneously a radiator fan is opened for controlling temperature. The device and the method of the invention are simple, have low cost, and greatly broaden the applying field of the DLP projection products. The device and the method can be widely applicable to the DLP projection products adopting a DMD chip.
