Abstract
The invention relates to a novel gear ring protective ring, in particular to the protective cover which is used for a big gear ring and a pinion gear of an active lime rotary kiln and is characterized in that a rain shielding ring is arranged on the external side of the high-end of the gear ring protective cover. An oil shielding ring is arranged on the inner side of the low end of the gear ring protective cover. The top part of the gear ring protective cover is provided with a hood. An oil pool at the bottom of the gear ring protective cover is internally provided with a clapboard and forms an independent oil sump, the middle part of which is provided with an oil discharge outlet with an oil level indicator; and the tilt angle of the bottom plate of the oil pool is 15-25 degrees. An oil carrying wheel in the oil pool at the bottom of the gear ring protective cover is positioned by an adjustable clamp ring and can be adjusted on a wheel axle.
