Abstract

The invention discloses a passive detection method of scales jump actions in highway charging and weighing, belonging to the technical field of image processing. The method comprises the following detection steps of: (1) acquiring continuous images of vehicles passing through a dynamic weight balancer and converting the images into digital video formats; (2) carrying out grayness, binarization and noise filtering pretreatment operations on the acquired continuous images of the vehicles; (3) extracting shape characteristics and stop positions of the vehicles in the pretreated images and contrasting the shape characteristics of the vehicles with a vehicle threshold value to exclude small vehicles; (4) judging whether the vehicles have scales jump suspicions or not according to the condition whether the extracted vehicle stop positions enter a specific area in front of the dynamic weight balancer or not; and (5) carrying out affine transformation on the images, calculating an optical flow field, contrasting with an action judge threshold value to judge whether the vehicles have scales jump or not and storing scales jump videos.
