CONSTITUTION: A safety cover for an industrial robot comprises a plate-shaped resin cover member(21), a frame member(22), and a separation preventing unit(35). When a hand or an arm of an industrial robot coming out from a work area collides into the cover member, the circumference of the cover member is fitted in a locking unit(22c) of the frame member so that the frame member supports the cover member. When a part of the cover member is separated from the locking unit, the separation preventing unit keeps the cover member separating from the frame member.
