Abstract

The invention relates to a disposable syringe (1) with protection against reuse, which comprises a cylinder (3) with an injection nozzle (5) and a piston (7). Said piston (7) has a piston section (9) abutting the injection nozzle (5), a piston rod (17), and an actuation section (13) located away from the piston section (9). To create a disposable syringe (1) with protection against reuse which is simple and cost-effective to produce and of which the means for providing the protection against reuse is arranged outside the area (11) of the disposable syringe (1) which can be filled with an injectable substance, it is proposed that the piston rod (17) have a locking piece (19), the cylinder have a counter-locking piece (27), and the piston (7) have at least one predetermined breaking point (15) in such a way that when the piston rod (17) is pushed into the cylinder (3), the locking piece (19) and the counterlocking piece (27) are locked together and prevent a removal of the piston rod (17) from the cylinder (3), and that the predetermined breaking point (15) be designed such that said predetermined breaking point (15) breaks when the actuation section is pulled.
