Abstract

This invention refers to a regenerable desulfurizer with high sulfur capacity, and said desulfurizer contains non-crystal iron oxide hydroxide not less than 88% in weight percentage, and organic binder not less than 7%, wherein, the organic binder includes sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sesbania powder, cellulose powder, or a mixture thereof. This invention further provides a method for preparing the desulfurizer and a method for regenerating the waste agent after the desulfurizer used. This method overcomes the disadvantages in the existing technologies. For example, the dry desulfurizer has low sulfur capacity, can not be regenerated or reused that lots of waste agents have to be buried, which results in waste of reusable resources in used desulfurizer and environmental pollution.
