Embodiment Construction
[0017] According to the chemical composition range set by the present invention, 4 heats of steel were smelted in a vacuum induction furnace, argon protection was used during the smelting process, and pure rare earth element La was added before tapping. All the 4 furnaces of steel were poured into steel ingots with a size of Φ80mm×160mm and a mass of 10 kg. In addition, for comparison, 316L stainless steel was prepared by vacuum induction melting.

The invention discloses rare earth-containing austenitic stainless steel for a surgical implant. The stainless steel comprises 0.15 to 0.50 weight percent of La, wherein in the steel, S is less than or equal to 0.005 weight percent; P is less than or equal to 0.01 weight percent; and the added La element in a stainless steel matrix is in a solid solution state and in the form of compound. The stainless steel has the advantages that: leach liquor of the stainless steel contains La ions at certain concentration to bring biological effect into play; the cell toxicity evaluation level is equivalent to that of 316L stainless steel; and the stainless steel meets the requirements of the stainless steel of the surgical implant and has superior mechanical property.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to a rare earth-containing austenitic stainless steel, in particular to a rare earth-containing austenitic stainless steel used for surgical implants. Background technique [0002] With the improvement of people's living standards and the continuous pursuit of health, the demand for various biological materials is increasing, and the amount of biomedical metal materials, especially stainless steel, is very large. At present, coronary stents made of medical 316L stainless steel may have problems such as thrombosis and vascular restenosis during clinical application, and their biological safety is not satisfactory. Therefore, the development and manufacture of medical stainless steel and its products with better biological properties have attracted more and more attention. [0003] Rare earth elements have unique physical and chemical properties and have a wide range of applications. Studies have confirmed that rare earth is a bi...
