Abstract

The invention relates to a light-emitting device and a light-emitting method thereof. The light-emitting device receives an adjusted alternating current power supply as an input power supply. The embodiment of the light-emitting device comprises a light-emitting diode (LED) array and a drive circuit, wherein the LED array is formed by parallel connection of at least one light-emitting group; the drive circuit is provided with a plurality of outputs corresponding to the light-emitting groups; each output has a default so as to control the luminance of the corresponding light-emitting group; and each light-emitting group in the LED array automatically and sequentially conducts for fixed time according to the output of the drive circuit and the amplitude of the alternating current power supply and ends according to the default of the drive circuit.
