The double planetary transmission hoisting mechanisms for a ladle crane is characterized in that two low-speed ends of the two sets of driving systems are rigidly connected by the gear pair; the output shafts of the electromotors are provided with the service brake respectively; and the emergency brake is connected with or arranged on a planet carrier shaft by a pair of overdrive gears.
