The invention provides an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array)-based algorithm encryption card specially for tax control, comprising an FPGA chip, a cryptographic algorithm chip specially for the tax control, an FPGA configuration chip, a power chip and a PCI-IP (Peripheral Component Interconnect-Intellectual Property) core. The data interaction between the encryption card and a host is carried out through a 32 bit PCI bus. The FPGA-based algorithm encryption card specially for the tax control is mainly used for the data encryption and decryption operations of the field of the tax control; the interface logic of the PCI bus is realized by utilizing the FPGA and the embedded PCI-IP core technology; and the running of a cipher chip is controlled through a state machine of the FPGA. The encryption card has the advantages of fast speed, high efficiency, low cost and small power consumption.
