Abstract

The invention discloses a China mobile multimedia broadcasting (CMMB)-based rich media audio broadcasting front-end and a CMMB-based rich media audio broadcasting system. The rich media audio broadcasting front-end is used for producing CMMB audio data and CMMB markup language (CML) data, multiplexing the CMMB audio data and the CML data into a multiplexed stream by using a CMMB multiplexer, and transmitting the multiplexed stream to a CMMB-based rich media audio broadcasting terminal. The rich media audio broadcasting front-end comprises a service management unit, a data broadcasting unit and an audio coder, wherein the service management unit is used for managing the CML data which is produced by a content provider / service provider according to broadcasting information provided by the content provider / service provider, outputting the CML data to the data broadcasting unit, and managing data interaction with the CMMB-based rich media audio broadcasting terminal; the data broadcasting unit is used for receiving the CML data, performing format conversion on the CML data to be transmitted, and transmitting the format-converted CML data to be transmitted to the CMMB multiplexer; and the audio coder is used for compressing and coding an audio program source to form the CMMB audio data, and outputting the CMMB audio data to the CMMB multiplexer.
