Abstract

The invention relates to breathable water-absorption PU (polyurethane) resin which contains the following materials by total mass percent of a reaction system: (A) 10%-12% of diphenylmethane-4,4 '-diisocyanate; (B) 15%-20% of polyol compounds; (C) 0.8%-2% of dual-hydroxy organosilicon modified by propylene oxide; (D) 2%-3.5% of diol chain extender; and (E) 60 % -70% of solvent, wehrein the mass ratio of polyester polyol to polyether polyol is 1.5:1-4:1, the mass ratio of dual-hydroxy organosilicon modified by propylene oxide to polyol compounds is 1:19-3:17. In the invention, the dual-hydroxyof organosilicon is allowed to react with the diisocyanate in the materials and then connected to a resin structure. Due to the interface activation of the organosilicon, uniform cells are formed on the resin; more important, as the organosilicon is modified by propylene oxide, the speed of solidification at the surface of the resin is slowed greatly, therefore vertical cells can be formed; and after the surface of synthetic leather is polished, the vertical openings of the cells are opened and finally vertical water channels are formed, therefore the resin has excellent breathable and water-absorption properties.
