The invention discloses a method for realizing on-grid and off-grid dual-mode running of dual-directional converter in micro-grid, which comprises the following steps of: detecting whether the macro-grid loses power or recovers power supply by an on- and off-grid controller in the micro-grid, sending 'ready to be off grid' or 'off grid' or 'ready to be on grid' or 'on grid' commands to the dual-directional converter via two binary coding interfaces, meanwhile allowing the on- and off -grid controller to communicate with a micro-grid control system, and sending charge and discharge power command signals by the micro-grid control system to make the dual-directional converter act correspondingly.
