Abstract

The invention discloses a method for combining documents. The method is used for combining a plurality of initial documents which are formed based on the same template. The template comprises a plurality of fragments, wherein each fragment has a set combination rule. The method for combining the documents comprises the step of: combining the corresponding fragments in each initial document according to the combination rule of the fragments, and thus forming a combined document. The fragments comprise one or more of rows, lines and cells in a table, and paragraphs, bookmarks and titles in the documents. The combination rule comprises copying combination and repetition eliminating combination, wherein for the fragments of which the combination rule is the copying combination, the fragments in each initial document are sequentially copied into the combined document; and for the fragments of which the combination rule is the repetition eliminating combination, the fragments in each initial document are sequentially copied into the combined document, and when some fragments are repeated, one of the repeated fragments is only reserved.
