Embodiment Construction

[0041] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0042] see figure 1 As shown, in the EOC ONU system of the embodiment of the present invention, the ONU and the CBAT are integrated into a whole device. For EPON system, this equipment is ONU equipment, but for EOC system, this equipment is CBAT equipment. figure 1 Among them, ONU is not only limited to EPON, but also applicable to xPON.

[0043] For the EOC ONU hardware structure used to realize the line identification function in the embodiment of the present invention, refer to figure 2 As shown, the EOC function and the EPON ONU function are integrated in one device. The device contains four hardware modules: EPON chip, Ethernet switch chip, EOC chip and CPU. The management control interface of the Ethernet switch chip is connected to the CPU, the uplink port of the Ethernet switch chip is connected to the Ethernet side interface of t...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for implementing circuit identification in an optical network unit (ONU) system based on EOC (Ethernet over Coaxial cable). The method comprises the following steps: after initialization, emptying a temporary CNU (Coaxial Network Unit) MAC (Media Access Control) address learning table TT, polling a MAC address learned by each CNU, obtaining the user side MAC address of each user port of each CNU one by one, and writing the MAC addresses into the TT; comparing the TT with a global CNU MAC address learning table TG, and synchronizing the TT into the TG; and transferring messages of the CNUs to an Ethernet exchange chip through an coaxial cable, transmitting the messages to a CPU (central processing unit) according to a message redirection rule, analyzing the source MAC addresses of the messages by the CPU after receiving the messages, searching corresponding serial numbers and user port numbers of the CNUs when judging that the source MAC addresses exist in the TG, analyzing the messages and adding circuit identification information to the messages by the CPU, and finally forwarding the messages by the Ethernet exchange chip. By adopting the method, the corresponding circuit identification information can be added to the messages from the CNUs; and the method has the advantages of lower requirements on hardware, simpleness for implementation, short development cycle and low cost.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the application of EoC (Ethernet over Coaxial cable, Ethernet technology based on coaxial cable transmission) in the field of optical communication, in particular to a method for realizing line identification in an EOC ONU (Optical Network Unit, optical network unit) system. Background technique [0002] The Ethernet-based EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical System, Ethernet Passive Optical Network) system is a single-fiber bidirectional optical access network with a point-to-multipoint structure. Provide a variety of services. The EPON system includes an OLT (Optical Line Terminal, Optical Line Terminal) on the office side, an ONU (Optical Distribution Network, Optical Distribution Network) on the user side. [0003] The EoC coaxial Ethernet system is a series of products specially designed for radio and television cable network operators to realize two-way data transmission based on the existing coaxial cable distribution network...
