The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring parameters of between oil wells and water wells taking layer as a unit of the high-water-content oil field; performing statistical analysis on the parameters to obtain the proportion of the parameters in falling intervals; generating a model corresponding to the parameters according to the proportion of the parameters in the falling intervals; and identifying the water flow dominant channels among layers of the oil wells and the water wells according to the model corresponding to the parameters. A normal distribution model of each parameter is formed by acquiring the parameters related to thewater flow dominant channels; and an identification system for identifying the water flow dominant channels is formed by establishing an identification standard of the water flow dominant channels and applying the normal distribution model of each parameter so as to improve the water flooding development effect of the high-water-content oil field.
