Problems solved by technology

If such captured electrons are subsequently released due to temperature rise of the photodiode that may be caused when a moving image is captured for a long period of time, unnecessary current such as dark current tends to be generated, which may appear in the generated radiography of the subject noise in the image

Embodiment Construction

[0105] The following will refer to Figures 1 to 36B A radiographic image capturing apparatus according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail.

[0106] Arrangement of the first embodiment

[0107] figure 1 is a schematic diagram, partly in block diagram form, of a radiographic image capture system 10 including an electronic cassette (radiographic image capture device) 20 according to a first embodiment of the present invention.

[0108] Such as figure 1 As shown in , the radiographic image capture system 10 includes: a radiation output section 18 for applying radiation 16 to a subject 14 such as a patient lying on an image capture base 12 such as a bed; an electronic cassette 20 for Detects radiation 16 that has passed through the subject 14, and converts the detected radiation into a radiographic image; a console 22 for controlling the radiographic image capturing system 10 as a whole, and receiving information from a doctor or a ra...

Abstract

A radiographic image capturing apparatus includes a resetting light source, a switching filter, a photodetector substrate, and a scintillator, which are arranged successively in this order. If the switching filter is made permeable to resetting light from the resetting light source, the switching filter applies the resetting light to the photodetector substrate. If the switching filter is made impermeable to the resetting light, the switching filter reflects at least a fluorescence, which is converted from radiation by the scintillator, toward the photodetector substrate.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a radiographic image capture device having: a scintillator for converting radiation into fluorescence; and a photodetector substrate for converting fluorescence into electrical signals. Background technique [0002] In the medical field, it has been widely practiced to apply radiation from a radiation source to a subject, and to detect the radiation that has passed through the subject using a radiation detector constituting a part of a radiographic image capturing apparatus, A radiographic image of the subject is thereby captured. A radiographic image capture device includes: a scintillator for converting radiation that has passed through a subject into fluorescence; and a photodetector substrate for converting fluorescence into electrical signals. The photodetector substrate includes photodetector components including photodiodes for detecting fluorescent light. [0003] If the photodiode of the photodetector part is...
