Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a heterogeneous network system, control equipment in a meter reading system and a method for realizing coexistence of various networks. The network system comprises a meter reading network, and an electric wire communication PLC (programmable logic controller) network which is coupled with the meter reading network through a high-frequency signal channel, wherein the meter reading network comprises a control module and a controllable on-off high-frequency path module, which are mutually coupled; the controllable on-off high-frequency path module is coupled with the PLC network through the high-frequency signal channel; the controllable on-off high-frequency path module comprises attenuation high-frequency signal equipment and a controllable switch,which are connected in parallel; the control module is used for controlling an access state of the attenuation high-frequency signal equipment by controlling on and off states of the controllable switch; and the attenuation high-frequency signal equipment is used for carrying out attenuation or isolation on high-frequency signals transmitted to the meter reading network from the PLC network through the high-frequency signal channel when accessing into the meter reading network. In the scheme of the embodiment of the invention, the coexistence of the household PLC network and the meter readingnetwork are realized.
