Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless communication system and a method for sending an uplink synchronization channel as well as a corresponding wireless frame structure and a preamble structure in a wireless subframe. The wireless communication system comprises a sending party and a receiving party; and the sending party sends preambles to the receiving party by an uplink synchronization channel, wherein the preambles are sent at six resource blocks of frequency domains of one or more subframes of a wireless frame that the uplink synchronization channel is located at. And each of the preambles includes a cyclic prefix and a sequence according to a timing sequence, wherein the sequence's duration is 4096Ts or 2048Ts. Variation of the duration of the sequence can correspond different duration of the cyclic prefix. According to the invention, a coverage requirement of a wireless local area network can be met; wireless resources can be fully utilized; the number of multiplexing subscribers can be improved; collision probability of uplink random access is reduced; and the system throughput is improved.
