Abstract

The method comprises the steps of mounting a virtual machine disk mirror and executing a virtual machine repairing module, wherein the mounting of the virtual machine disk mirror is a premise of the execution of the virtual machine repairing module, the disk mirror mounted onto a host machine represents a hard disk on the host machine, and following operation aims at the operation system on the hard disk; and the execution of the virtual machine repairing module is the core of the scheme and has the functions as follows: maintaining a crashed windows or linux physical machine by a LIVECD, changing or resetting passwords, cloning hard disks and recovering deleted files. The method comprises the repairing steps of directly mounting the virtual machine disk mirror stored at the back end onto the host machine and executing a virtual machine repairing module package, thereby realizing maintenance and repair on a related virtual machine.
