The invention discloses an assistive tool for assembling a clamp ring, specially assembling the clamp ring into a clamp ring groove arranged in the surface of a shaft, comprising an internal sleeve member and an external sleeve member. An axial through passage for the shaft to pass is formed in the internal sleeve member; and a clamp ring seat suitable for bearing the clamp ring is formed on the first end part of the internal sleeve member. The external sleeve member can be sheathed on the external surface of the internal sleeve member and further axially move along the internal sleeve member; and the external sleeve member has a push face, which can resist and push the clamp ring born on the clamp ring seat.
