The method improves a digit barcode, wherein the total length of the barcode is 24 digits made of pure figures; the 1st digit is extensible and identifies the commodity as the fresh agricultural product; the 2nd to 4th digits are used for identifying distribution center and warehouse center; the 5th to 10th digits are used for identifying the price query PLU of the commodity; all the digits are required to be configured in an electronic scale; the 11th to 22nd digits are the weighing time of the commodity, and year, month, day, hour, minute and second are all two-digit and automatically generated by the electronic scale during weighing; and the 23rd to 24th digits are weighing sequence numbers, are automatically generated by the electronic scale, and circulate from 00 to 99. The special handset, the weighing upper computer and the communication middleware are used for supplying the only identification for each fresh agricultural product according to the set steps, so as to carry out the all-process control of the circulation and tracing, and then ensure the food safety.
