Abstract

The invention discloses a detecting method for continuous gradient search vertical bell labs layered space-time code based on power constraint. The method comprises the following steps: (1) setting up initial value signals; (2) setting up initial thresholds; (3) setting up the value which is three times higher than the sent signal power as a power constraint value; (4) performing singular value decomposition in the channel matrix; (5) obtaining a Lagrange function; (6) employing a Newton iteration method to iterate the Lagrange function to obtain the iterated decoded signals; (7) judging whether the signals meet a condition of convergence, if yes, going to the step (8), otherwise, going to the step (6); (8) performing hard decision on the iterated decoded signals obtained in the step (6) to obtain the detection signals. Compared with the prior art, the detecting method has the following advantages that the method is better than linear ZF (zero forcing) in detecting performance and close to MMSE (minimum mean square) in detecting performance; the detecting method is lower than the linear MMSE detecting method in complexity; and the detecting method is better than the linear MMSE detecting method in robustness.
