[0018] In the embodiment shown in Figures 3a and 3b, the resonator according to the invention, designated by reference numeral 110, comprises a tuning-fork-like part having two vibrating arms 112 and 114 connected by a connection 116, A central connecting arm 118 located between the arms 112 and 114 and parallel to said arms is connected to this connecting portion 116 . The entire assembly is made from a single piece of quartz.
