The on-vehicle transparent head-up display system comprises a head-up display screen, control keys and a display control module which is arranged in a multimedia processor, wherein an overturning mechanism is arranged at the lower end of the head-up display screen; the head-up display screen is connected with the display control module; the control keys are connected with the overturning mechanism and the display control module; the head-up display screen has the structure that a liquid crystal display screen is embedded into the back surface of a transparent light emitting diode (LED) display screen; and the transparency of the liquid crystal display screen is between 60 percent and 70 percent. By the invention, multimedia information can be displayed in the head-up display screen, and the sight line of a driver is not blocked.
