no. 1 example

[0024] now refer to figure 2 , which shows a flow chart of the method for detecting fighting behavior according to the first embodiment of the present invention. The video is, for example, from a monitoring camera device, which consists of a plurality of video frames. The first embodiment of the present invention is the basic method of using video to detect fighting behavior, that is to say, we can automatically detect whether there is fighting behavior in all or part of the video through the present invention in the existing video , can also be directly applied to real-time video to detect fighting behavior in real-time.

[0025] Such as figure 2 As shown, firstly, a plurality of consecutive video frames are obtained from the video. The extraction of the video frame may be performed according to the video standard and the video compression codec standard. The extracted multiple video frames are used as raw data of the method of the present invention. The number of the ...

[0039] now refer to Figure 4 A schematic diagram illustrating an apparatus for detecting fighting behavior using video according to the second embodiment of the present invention.

[0040] Such as Figure 4 As shown, the device 10 of the present invention includes a video frame acquisition module 12 , a video frame processing module 14 , a fighting behavior judgment module 16 and a judgment result output module 18 . The four modules are electrically connected in turn.

[0041] The video frame obtaining module 12 is used for connecting to an external video source, and obtaining a plurality of continuous video frames from the external video source, and sending these video frames to the video frame processing module 14 . In this embodiment, the method for acquiring a plurality of continuous video frames is the same as the first embodiment described above, and will not be described in detail here.

[0042] The video frame processing module 14 is connected to the video frame ac...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for detecting fight by using a video. The method comprises steps of acquiring a plurality of continuous video frames from the video; extracting a moving foreground from the continuous video frames; detecting moving objects from the moving foreground; determining whether at least two moving objects exist in the continuous video frames or not; continuing to implement following steps if at least two moving objects exist in the continuous video frames and determining that the fight does not occur if at least two moving objects do not exist in the continuous video frames; calculating a distance among moving objects in the continuous video frames, continuing to implement following steps if the distance is less than an appointed threshold and determining that the fight does not occur if the distance is no less than the appointed threshold; and calculating the area variation magnitude of minimum rectangle frame area which covers at least two moving objects in the continuous video frames and determining whether the flight occurs, wherein the area variation magnitude is a parameter which represents a variation rate in continuous area variation. By the aid of the device and the method, the misinformation rate of flight detection is effectively reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of video monitoring, and in particular relates to a method and device for detecting fighting behavior by using video. Background technique [0002] Fighting has always been considered an act that endangers social security and is prohibited by law. In addition to causing personal injury to the fighters, fighting behavior will also have a great impact on social harmony and stability. For example, physical fights caused by robbery in front of cash machines, and fights caused by thieves breaking into the homes of elderly people living alone. These fighting behaviors are very dangerous. With the development of science and technology, the integration of hardware devices has been very high, and cameras are installed in many public places. Faced with a large number of cameras, it is impossible to rely on security personnel to monitor with naked eyes. This drives the development of monitoring technology, making it ...
