Abstract

The invention relates to a technology for modulating a pulse width, and discloses a method and an apparatus for modulating a space vector pulse width. The main concept of the method provided by the invention is that: a harmonic component is equivalently injected into an output of an inverter; action time of a redundancy small vector is allocated, so that an instantaneous common-mode voltage component output from the inverter is mutually canceled out with the instantaneous common-mode voltage component of the harmonic component which is equivalently injected into the output of the inverter, thereby eliminating the instantaneous common-mode voltage component of the output of the inverter. According to the method, the invention further provides a corresponding apparatus for modulating the space vector pulse width. By adoption of the method provided by the invention, common-mode voltage component in an output voltage of the inverter is effectively reduced, high utilization of a DC (Direct Current) busbar voltage is kept, and efficiency of the system is improved.
