Abstract

The invention discloses a backlight module for a liquid crystal display device. The backlight module comprises a light source, a rear panel, a light-guiding plate and an optical diaphragm, wherein the light source is used for emitting light; the rear panel is provided with a loading surface and at least one lateral edge; the rear panel is used for loading the light source through the loading surface; the light-guiding plate is located on the light source and is used for guiding the light; the optical diaphragm is used for processing the light after being guided by the light-guiding plate; the optical diaphragm is located on the light-guiding plate and is provided with at least one bending part; and the bending part is connected with the lateral edge of the rear panel, so as to fix the relative position of the optical diaphragm.
