Abstract

The invention discloses a device for preventing a reactor from losing control by tail gas flow monitoring, comprising a flow transmitter, a liquid level transmitter, a logic processor and a safety facility, wherein the flow transmitter is connected with the tail gas pipe of the reactor; the liquid level transmitter is connected with the reactor; the flow transmitter and the liquid level transmitter are respectively connected with the logic processor through data transmission lines; and the logic processor is connected with the safety facility through the data transmission line. The invention further discloses a method for preventing the reactor from losing control by tail gas flow monitoring. According to the invention, the detection of partial uncontrolled reaction is sensitive, such as a uncontrolled reaction which generate noncondensable gases, or a reaction operated under a bubble point; reaction abnormity can be detected in early stage detection of the uncontrolled reaction, thereby necessary measures are adopted to prevent accidents.
